What CobbleWiki is

CobbleWiki publishes game reference content (worlds, tools, items, bosses, pets, shops, gear, FAQ, and similar pages). Most visitors browse without creating an account.

Information we collect

Automatically

  • Technical data such as IP address, browser/device type, request path, and timestamps in server or host logs (for security, uptime, and abuse prevention).
  • Essential browser storage described in our Cookie Policy (for example, acknowledging this notice).

If you contact us

  • Whatever you include in an email to support or privacy (typically your email address and message content).

Catalog content

  • Game reference data published on the Wiki (names, descriptions, icons, and related metadata) so pages can be displayed to visitors.

We do not run advertising trackers or sell personal information. Ordinary readers do not need an account.

How we use information

  • Host and display the Wiki.
  • Operate, secure, and debug the site.
  • Respond to support or privacy requests.
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms.

Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Where GDPR applies, we rely on:

  • Legitimate interests — running a public wiki, security, and fraud prevention.
  • Contract / operator necessity — processing catalog data needed to operate the Wiki.
  • Consent — where we ask for it (for example, acknowledging the cookie notice).

Third-party processors

  • Vercel — hosting and serverless functions.
  • Supabase — database / object storage used for published catalog content and icons (when enabled).

Providers may process data in regions such as Canada or the United States. By using the Wiki you understand information may be transferred outside your province or country.

Retention

  • Published wiki content — while the Wiki remains online.
  • Server / host logs — for a limited time per our hosts’ policies (typically weeks to months).
  • Browser storage — until you clear it.
  • Support emails — as long as needed to resolve your request, then routine mailbox retention.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, or information about processing. Email privacy@voktera.com. We may need to verify your request. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

California residents: we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Children

The Wiki is a general audience Minecraft reference site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 for accounts or marketing. If you believe a child provided personal data to us, contact privacy@voktera.com and we will delete it.

Security

We use HTTPS and reasonable access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Game / third-party content

CobbleWiki is not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft. Minecraft and related marks belong to their owners. Cobblestone server branding and in-game content remain subject to Cobblestone’s own rules and policies.

Changes

We may update this policy by posting a new version on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy to the extent permitted by law.
